My 1st class of the day--fluent speakers, both of them--has been assigned the task of preparing food. The plan is to make some food, write up a recipe, and then do a classroom presentation.
My idea was to make sandwiches or salad, but that was rather quickly vetoed by the girls (all two of them) . . . they wanted to make a dessert-oriented item.
Thus, I asked for and got permission to take them shopping today. We went to E-Mart, the local giant everything-store, and bought chocolate cereal and powdered sugar. Then we went to another store to buy a large plastic mixing bowl.
Can you guess what we're going to make?
